From Hilo:

 

1) 8:30am Port of Hilo
- Cruise Ship Passengers Only

 

Please depart your ship, then go through the Visitor Arrival Building to the Aloha Room located outside of the building. Please do not go outside the security gate, our uniformed driver will pick you up at the curbside area in front of the Aloha Room. Please be at the curbside area by 8:30am to meet our uniformed driver and tour vehicle. Our tour van has BikeVolcano.com written on the side of it and will be towing an enclosed white trailer.

 

2) 8:40am Castle – Hilo Hawaiian Hotel Lobby – 71 Banyan Dr., Hilo, HI, 96720 – (808) 935-9361

 

Take Hwy 19 to Hilo. Turn left at Kanoelehua Ave. onto Banyan Drive (where Hwy. 19 meets Hwy 11, the fourth intersection after coming into Hilo along the bay, Ken’s House of Pancakes will be on your right). The Hilo Hawaiian Hotel (71 Banyan Dr.) is the last hotel on your right before Queen Liliu’okalani Park (the Japanese Garden). Park in the hotel parking (free parking) or anywhere along Banyan Drive and meet our uniformed driver and tour van in front of the open hotel lobby under the porte cochere.

 

 

From Kona:

 

1) 9:30am to 9:40am Kilauea General Store – 19-3972 Old Volcano Road., Volcano Village, HI.

 

Option 1 (Saddle Road):
Driving Directions From Waikoloa Resorts (2 to 2 1/2 hours):
Take a left (North) on Hwy 19 to Waikoloa Road (First Intersection near Waikoloa Heliport) head uphill to Hwy 190 where you will take a left. Take a right onto Hwy 200 which turns into Hwy 2000 to the end of highway. Take a right onto Komohana St then take the first left onto Puainako St. Next take a right on Hwy. 11, Kanoelehua Ave., to Volcano. Take a right on the second street after the 26 mile marker onto Wright Road (There will be a sign there indicating Food & Lodging). Next take a left at the stop sign onto the Old Volcano Rd. The Kilauea General Store will be on your right with an Aloha Gas Station and the Lava Rock Cafe adjacent to it. Please park to the far back of the employee parking located behind the store against the trees. Also, please write down your license plate number to register your car for parking. Please go to the store’s front entrance to meet our uniformed guide and driver. There is a restroom located in the store’s complex. Please no trace in the parking area by placing all trash in a rubbish can.

 

Driving Directions From Mauna Lani, Ritz Carlton, Fairmont Orchid Resorts (2 to 2 1/2): Turn right or South on Hwy 19 and follow the above listed directions. Hapuna Prince, & Mauna Kea Resorts go North on Hwy 19 to Waimea Town. Turn right on Hwy 190. Take a left onto Hwy 200. Follow the above listed directions to the Kilauea General Store.

 

Option 2 (South):
Driving Directions From Waikoloa (2 3/4 to 3 hours) and Kailua-Kona (2 1/4 hours):
(From Waikoloa) Take Hwy 19 South to Kailua-Kona which changes into Hwy 11. (From Kailua-Kona) Take Hwy 11 South to Volcano. Take a left on the second street after the 27 mile marker onto Wright Road. At the stop sign take a left onto the Old Volcano Rd. The Kilauea General Store will be on your right with an Aloha Gas Station and Lava Rock Cafe adjacent to it. Please park to the far back of the employee parking located behind the store against the trees. Also, please write down your license plate number to register your car for parking. Please go to the store’s front entrance to meet our uniformed guide and driver. There is a restroom located in the store’s complex. Please leave no trace in the parking area by placing all trash in a rubbish can.

 


Option 3 (Northeast):
Driving Directions From Waikoloa and Kohala Resorts (3 hours):
Take Hwy 19 North to Hilo. Then take Hwy 11 South to Volcano. Take a right on the second street after the 26 mile marker onto Wright Road (There will be a sign there indicating Food & Lodging). Next take a left at the stop sign onto the Old Volcano Rd. The Kilauea General Store will be on your right with an Aloha Gas Station and Lava Rock Cafe adjacent to it.
