Kona – Volcano Transportation Service:
*This transportation service is offered based on demand (requires a minimum of 10 persons registered). Indicate on your reservations to be placed on our waiting list.

 

Rider Requirements:

• Individual Cyclist height requirement: 4’10″ and above

• No complete beginners, all riders need to know how to ride a bike

• No pregnant women cycling, however expecting mothers can come along as a van rider

• No riders with heart or respiratory problems

• Closed-toe shoes & eye protection (sun glasses) required

• Children Ages 5 years old and above are welcome. Tag Along Bicycles are available for children (which typically fits children 5 to 8 years old) that attaches to the parent’s bike (Maximum Tag Along weight = 85lbs; Tag Along Parent’s Bike Frame Size Minimum = Medium size frame (fits a 5’7 to 5’11″ person or above).

 

Cancellations are 100% refundable if we our notified BY PHONE before 48 hours of the tour date (email cancellations are not accepted within 48 hours of the tour date). There is a 50% penalty charge (for cancellations within 48 hours of the tour date) and a 100% penalty charge (for cancellations within 24 hours of the tour date).

 

Please be advised that WE BIKE RAIN OR SHINE and the minimum number of participants required to operate our tours is a total of 5 participants registered. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO CONTACT US 48 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR TOUR DATE TO CONFIRM YOUR TOUR.
