This short but sweet adventure starts at the Summit of Kilauea Volcano, where you will witness the incredible New Summit Crater. We will take a short hike and see amazing views of Kilauea’s immense Caldera. Then we will bike around the rim of the crater on paved roads and paved trails. Along the way your interpretive guide will provide you with information about the historic summit crater eruption, geology, Hawaiian culture, and pointing out native plants as you bike along.

We will stop by the Steam Vents to feel the heat of the Volcano before heading though the lush native Hawaiian Rain Forest. Here you will see a variety of other craters as well as getting a chance to see the Pu’u Pua’i Cinder Cone and Devastation Trail. The tour continues to Keanakako’i Crater and to the top of the Chain of Craters Road.
