Kilauea Volcano’s summit swarms with hundreds of earthquakes. From February 21 – 24th, 2012 earthquakes as large as 4.3 rocked the summit area. The magnitude-4.3 earthquake did cause a small rockfall in the active vent located within Halema’uma’u Crater. Please see a picture of this event taken by Larry Broido.
Our guided bicycle tours have continued to provide guests with uniquely special days, including spectacular views of snow capped Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea Volcano.
